The duo hit the road for their 1st national tour last year, opening

from Feb.-April of 2011 (tour diary videos @ ), making a memorable stop at Austin’s
Stubb’s! The tour promoted their debut self titled EP, produced by
Bill Lefler (Dashboard Confessional, Ingrid Michaelson).

The EP was dubbed the #1 “Indie Album of the Year” by
with The Wellspring one of the “Top Indie Artists To Watch”. Their
music has since been featured on FOX’s hit TV series HOUSE and has
garnered rave reviews:

“Destiny appears to be on the side of this Folk Rock Pop duo… Their
musical synergy has earned them a great deal of critical acclaim. Many
fans have fallen in love with their melodically pleasing harmonies,
and insightful lyrics.” – ABC News, Philadelphia

“…the record’s warmth and sincerity underscore the magnetic musical
chemistry between The Wellspring’s members Dov Rosenblatt and Talia
Osteen. The duo really does craft some of the prettiest and
heart-melting pop I’ve heard in quite some time… beautiful music,
which is lilting, moving and arresting all at once.” – ArtistDirect

Talia and Dov met in New York in 2009 when Dov, then lead singer/
songwriter of local band ‘Fools For April’, met with Talia, then VP at
a film production company, about placing his music in their films.
Talia fell in love with Dov’s music, and Dov discovered that Talia had
sung in a band for years prior to her career in film. Months later,
mutual fans of each other, the two decided to take a stab at writing
together. Talia sent Dov a torrent of poems. It was these poems that
sparked him to write music fervently into the wee hours of morning. It
was this music that would inspire her to sing again. Together, they
discovered a wellspring of music. Talia quit her job and the pair
spent all their free time writing and recording together in Dov’s home

The band is fortunate to have a major sponsorship deal with for tour support and recording, and gear
endorsement deals with Takamine Guitars and C.F. Martin.

The Wellspring is currently working on their next debut
full-length album in Los Angeles. The duo will release the new record in the first quarter of 2012.
They will tour nationally in support of another large act (TBA) to promote the new release.
